Company History

aw plant Automatic Welding was established in 1952 as a repair shop for the parent company E&E Seegmiller Ltd. The shop repaired, rebuilt, and initiated improvements to their road building and aggregate equipment. Other contractors soon enlisted Automatic Welding's experience and complete shop services, to rebuild their crushers, screens and heavy equipment.

The business grew to include the rebuilding of metal stamping presses, and rubber tire manufacturing equipment. Eventually the company progressed into hydraulics, spawning the nitrogen / hydraulic cylinder on roll crushers, lifting and levelling cylinders for portable aggregate plants and the patented Hydraulic Toggle® for jaw crushers.
